In House Watchmaker

Liem Duong, our in-house watchmaker, is a qualified watchmaker who specialises in watch and clock repairs and restorations.

At an early age, Liem had an interest in understanding how engineered mechanisms worked which led him to do an apprenticeship in clock and watch trade in Melbourne, Australia in 1989. Since becoming a qualified watchmaker in 1992, Liem has been repairing and restoring all Swiss and Japanese watch movements. This includes simple quartz, manual, automatics, chronograph and a particular interest in restoration of vintage timepieces. Liem is also skilled in repairing and restoring clocks ranging from small wall clocks to grandfather clocks.

Liem carries both the passion and expertise in horology and is willing to share his knowledge and help preserve watchmaking to anyone who would like to listen.

After Sales Service

We offer service repairs and restoration for all fine Swiss and Japanese watch movements. This includes all movements from Rolex, Omega, Tudor, IWC, Patek Philipe, Audemars Piguet and more. For any necessary replacement parts, we have either in stock or have access to original parts.

We always provide free quotation before any repairs are performed.

The turn around time for repairs is usually 7 working days — vintage and restoration may take longer depending upon parts availability. We do carry an extensive inventory of original spare parts. Should we need to source spare parts, we will inform you of the lead times. All revisions through The Watch Culture carry a 1 year mechanical warranty.
